I will be buying a PWC in the near future, and I'm considering either the Kawasaki 250X or the Yamaha FX Cruiser High Output. I appreciate your opinion concerning which is a better machine as far as reliability, fuel efficiency and overall quality,. Both retail for about the same price.

Both seem to be good quality 3 passager machines and both ride good in the chop. Both to me have pros and cons. The Kaw is faster but uses more fuel, where the yamaha isn't as fast but better in fuel. The group of guys I ride with have have all four bands Honda,Kaw,Seadoo, yamaha. and they all have pros and cons so its all in what you want and are looking for?

I totally agree with the above.

Kawasaki should be good quality and should be reliable - the ultra 250 has not been out long enough in my opinion to prove that yet - Yami FXHO cruiser is proven though.

The FXHO Cruiser also has some nice features like adjustable trim, most comfy seats on the market, cleats, Very DRY ride, storage space etc. that the Kwaka doesn't.

No single ski is the best at everything - they all have pro's and cons, I think the FXHO is the best allrounder on the market at the momen though.
