Piston freeze ups

I would make sure the oil line are securely fastened. These line are not easy to see on the 1999 and 2000 Yamaha XLs. Rear piston freeze up is common on these models especially as they get older; the oil lines are only held on by plastic ties and over time work themselves off the metal oil mount. If you can do it or have it done, it would be a good idea to have the lines wire tied. This is a small expense compared to an engine freeze.

Have fun and :00000048::00000048:Good Luck
