New PWC owner and Forum Member

Evening everyone! My name is Richard and I’m from Augusta Georgia and I’m 51 and I just bought my first Jet Ski. Nothing new or anything but it’s certainly new to me. I’ve spent a lot of time on my best friends ski over the years, he had a 95 Yamaha 700 Wave Venture and I have bought myself a 97 Yamaha 1100 Wave Venture. It’s a 3 cylinder 2 stroke and I purchased it from the original owner. I just gave him a deposit for it today and he’s going to bring into town for me Monday morning and I’ll finish up the deal and bring it home then. I’ve got to do a couple of things to it of course but I’m handy when it comes time to do repairs on my stuff. It needs a new choke cable ( already ordered one ) and new passenger handles are needed so I’ve ordered two of those as well. And then the trailer needs some new tail lights. I’ll of course be putting new plugs and fuel filter in as well. It runs really good and no leaks as far as I could tell after a test ride. Of course I’ll never completely know until it’s been in the water overnight. Anyway I wanted to say hi and introduce myself and I hope to be a contributor and learn more about whatever I might need to know. Here are a few not the best photos but it’s pre me doing a thing to it.
