O3 XP-DI DEAD, POSSIBLE FUEL PUMP, ONLY 35 HRS ON THE DOO

WELL MY 2003 XP-DI IS NOW IN THE SHOP DEAD WITH ONLY 35 HRS ON IT, BIG BUMMER, i WAS RIPPEN AND SHE JUST DIED, THEN WHENT TO START IT AGAIN START FOR A BRIEF (oh so very breif) MOMENT, THEN DEAD, NO START TOWED IN FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME, SUCKED SO BAD, NEXT DAY, APRROACHED MY DILEMA,
DID COMPRESSION CHECK EQUAL AND AT ABOUT 130psi, IT STARTED, LET IT IDLE, HOOKED UP HOSE, AND CONTINUED TO LET IT IDLE, BURPED IT A COUPLE TIMES THEN LET IT IDLE SOME MORE, COOL ALLS WELL RIGHT, WRONG,
TOOK IT TO THE LAKE THE FOLLOWING WEEKEND,
IDLED IN THE NO-WAKE, THEN IT STALLED, AH OH
STARTED AGAIN THEN TRIED TO GO, NOPE, DOGGY, THEN STALLED AGAIN, MAN THIS SUCKS TOWED AGAIN, JUST DROPED IT OFF AT THE SHOP, HOLDING MY BREATH AS TO WHATS UP, AND WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM???? IM STRESSING WAITING TO HEAR FROM THE DEALER, :eek:
AND ALSO I WANTED TO SAY TO THE PEOPLE WHO TRULLY BELIEVE THAT THERE SPEEDO'S ARE CORRECT, THEY ARE SO VERY WRONG, THEY ARE FACTORY HYPED SPEEDOMETERS, IVE MOUNTED A SWEET GARMIN GPS ON MY UNIT, AND THE BEST TOP SPEED IVE RECORDED IS 62 ON GLASS WATER AND A TAIL WIND, WASNT IMPRESSED,,
YOU GUYS THAT I TALKED TO ABOUT IT BEFORE I GPS'ED,, WHERE RIGHT, I WAS JUST CLOUDED BY MY FIRST RIDES AND LOOKING AT THE SPEEDO'S ANOLOG AND DIGITAL,
AND IT IS ALSO A BIG BUMMER THEY DONT MAKE THEM ANY MORE ( XP'S ) THEY RULE IN HANDLING AND NO ONE HAS THE SHOCK SEAT EITHER, STILL TO THIS DAY, THAT FRICKING SEAT IS AWESOME ON THOSE LONG ROUGH CHOPPY DAYS,,,
THEY STOPPED MAKING THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE
2-STROKE'S, AND THEY COULDNT FIGURE OUT HOW TO CRAM THERE 4 STROKE IN THERE, AND HAVE THE PROPER WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION SET CORRECT FOR THE HEAVIER ENGINES, MAINLY BECAUSE OF THE SEAT CONFIGURATION ( SHOCK SEAT )
THEY WHERE ALREADY NOSE HEAVY WITH THE ENGINE PLACEMENT BECAUSE OF THE SEAT, ENGINE HAD TO BE MOVED FORWARD,,
TENDENCY TO SUBMARINE IN VERY SLOW NO-WAKE SPEEDS, THE RESULT,,,

I COULDNT BELIEVE IT WHEN I WAS TOLD THEY WHERE NO-MORE, THEN THEY REPLACED IT WITH DORKY 3-DI,,
WOW RIDE YOUR KNEES, BUST YOUR SHIN'S. OR I LOVE THERE LITTLE MOTO SEATS, BRAKE YOU BUT OR BACK, OR STAND WITH THE SHORT AND AWKWARD HANDLE BAR,

I HAVE A 96 XP AND MY NOW DEAD 03 XP-DI ,
AND WILL NEVER GET RID OF MY 03,
PERFECT MACHINE TONS OF FUN TO BE HAD, WITH THE SPEED AND HANDLING IT HAS, YES THEY COULD BE FASTER , ( LIKE FRICKEN 100 MPH )
BUT YOU JUST GET INTO TROUBLE FASTER AT THAT SPEED,
LOVE MY 03 XP-DI, I MISS IT, ITS IN THE SHOP, BOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOO BOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO SNIFFLE SNIFFLE,,,,

Ive Been reading other Boards, And Have come to the conclusion it is probabaly the Fuel Pump, What A RIP OFF, They want $620.oo For the Damn thing, I can't believe it, My Machine Only Has 35 HRs on it, Im Gonna be pissed if thats the Problem, How can they turn around and charge that Much, Especialy when the know there was a deffect with that Pump, Cant wait to hear from the Dealer,,,
