Hey Guys. I just bought a 2006 F15. Got a good deal here at the end of year ,and havent been able to ride it yet (I just stare at it in the garage-lol) I just changed the oil (amsoil marine 10w40). Right now at Canadian tire (Im in south Ontario,Canada .they have a sale on Formula One synthetic oil.Its only $15 for 4 liters (compared to the $50 -60 ) I would normally spend. My question is -they have different weights, but no 10w40.Would it be ok to use the 10w 30 or the 10 w50 ? I would like to stock up at this price.

Thanks

10W-30 would probably be ok as you are running in colder water up there. The heavier 20W-50 is best if you are riding the living snot out of your skis and not giving them much of a break or in more tropical conditions (aka-run hard and put away wet). It'll give you a bit more power and effieciency as well because the oil is thinner. Being that it's fully synthetic, you can rest assured that it will protect even better than regular 10W-40, so buy away!!!
