Im new to the forum and kind of new to Jet ski's. I have a 92 JS440 and it turns over and everything. I cleaned and rebuilt the carb, but it is only firing in one cylinder. Does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it??
On the note of the spark plug, take the plug while it's attached to the wire and ground it to the engine while cranking. MAKE SURE TO USE RUBBER HANDLED PLIERS OR YOU WILL BE SHOCKED. If it sparks while doing this, you're plug wire is good and your ignition system would appear to be operating correctly.
If the above stuff seems to be working, the next step is to check the compression of each cylinder.
Keep us posted so we can keep helping!
