Good afternoon to all. I am new to the forum. I am 63, retired and want to get my polaris 650 (1993) running for my grandkids. It actually has few hours on it, but several years ago, the oil reserve tank cracked and all the oil dumped into the sump. I tried to go with the oil/gas mixture, but I never got the carbs (3 mikuni's) tuned properly, so it always cut out at higher rev's.

I just put a new tank and line for the oil, but is there a way that I can guarantee that it is drawing the proper amount of oil. There is (what appears to be) and adjustment screw right next to the oil intake line to the block, but it turns 360 degrees, without a stop?

Any help would be appreciated!
