Greetings everyone. I just got off the water after being towed back. Bummer. I have an 02 Polaris 700. Had been running great, 48mph on semi smooth water. After about 40 minutes today just stopped. After a few minutes would restart, but die soon after. Not a ton of gas in it, but a couple inches visible in the tank. Maybe just not enough gas? Suggestions besides gas? Thanks everyone!!

If compression is good, and it didn't over heat, I would have to say put some gas in it and try. Could be it picked up crap off the bottom of the tank and plugged the filter also.

Thank you. I got to looking at fuels lines and noticed I still have the much discussed “Tempo” lines. Now 17 years old. Also, the previous owner had bypassed the fuel shutoff valve (maybe bad??). Replumbing with new lines the right way and we’ll see if it helps. Putting in some Sea Foam and new plugs too. Thanks for the help!
