I am thinking about purchasing a 2003SUV. The ski recently had the #1 cylinder rebuilt due to what the tech called a lean condition due to a bad carb. The other 2 cylinders were not touch since the compression was good. The 3 carbs were rebuilt and the pump housing was replaced. I only ran the ski on the trailer and it ran ok.....much more smoke than I remember from my 98 xl1200. The owner never winterized the ski since he thought that storing in climate control was enough for the winter. Is this a ski that I should avoid or is the recent work an indication of a clean bill of health.
