I will say im new to the site. but that aside. Iv got to replace the bearings and seals, Iv got the pump and everything off the back, i see the shaft coming out the back. So how do i get that shaft out?
Trying to remove drive shaft, It seems to have to be unscrewed (threaded on) is there a special tool to hold the coupler while unscrewing the drive shaft.:dunno:
I used the biggest channel locks i could find. you could even use a pipe wrench or somthing. It took me for ever to figure out how to get it out. I had to unbolt the engine, move it forward and pick it up. then i was able to pull the shaft out through the front.
