I would offer him a little less, and get a engine from SBT. While your enjoying the fun of the ski, get the manual and learn about it and rebuild the motor you took out. Now you have a spare or sell it. Be sure the hull is in god shape too. But thats just my own opinion. Good luck, let us know how it goes.
