Hello,
I have a question about how to fix a stripped head. I thought I would save a little money and winterize my jet skis last fall on my own. well, I stripped one of the holes for my spark plugs. Just wondering what the best way is to fix this bobo. Heli coil or time-sert. The time-sert product looks much better then the heli-coil. My skis are kawasaki stx-15f 2009.
Thanks for any help.

go to ur parts store they make a tap that can fix the threads if there not to badly damaged. you'll want to pull the head off no matter what you do so the metal dosn't fall into ur cylinder. if you have to use a thread insert instead of a heli coil

The time-sert product says its over the fender. Meaning you don't have to take off the head. Can't I just put a little grease on the tip of the threader and then also vacuum and blow out the hole?
