Hey,

New Yamaha catalog features a great photo of two people on a Waverunner pulling an adult on a wakeboard.

Anyone out there using their Waverunner for this a lot? I know it is a compromise. It is not a ski boat. And I have read that the wake is small and bubbly, not truly ideal for wakeboarding, but I am thinking of the kids here. I'd rather get them started sooner than later and a Waverunner seems the way to do.

I also think I read that the two is limited to the capacity? So for a three person ski you need a driver, you need an observer, so one person on the tube? Is that accurate?

Yes you are correct about the three seater. You must be able to transport the wake boarder and the observer safely on the ski.

So if go used with the Yamaha SUV, rated for 4 people, I can throw both kids on the tube and have someone else on the ski as observer - 2 and 2. Not exceeding capacity. Cool beans.
