I inherited a 2002 Seadoo GTI LE that apparently ingested water and sat for two years. I pulled engine and will be sending it out for complete rebuild, will rebuild carb, have new starter (old one was rusted and not turning), and will clean exhaust manifold as it was rusted. I have two questions as follows:
1) flywheel is pretty rusted, assuming I can just wire wheel clean it is not a clutch type flywheel and teeth are all that are used.
2) The coils behind flywheel were submerged and rusted. Should I just plan on replacing these?
All advice is appreciated
