My uncle is bringing his 1996 waveventure to town and told me i can have it for $1000. said hes never had a problem with it except the dash display doesnt work so we dont know how many hours are on it and there is a tear in the rear seat. he says it will do 50mph now but i remember a few years ago we got it to 60. is that just because its older. are there any known problems with the waveventure 1100? thanks guys and gals.

I had a brand new Wave Venture 1100 back in 1997. It was a great watercraft. Very stable and plenty of power.:appl: I think they go about 55/56 mph.

I just got a 1996 and 1997 waveventure. Took them both out and run hard got the 96 one up to 55mph. I would say that the price is reasonable for it but then again i just got my toes wet into this. Joe

Haha ya this is in excellent shape, only a couple dings on the rear. Everything else is good and runs strong.

I would take it for a grand, just do a compression test.
