Back in the late 80s / early 90s there was a pontoon attachment for the 440/550 hulls. I will guess it was made for the 550s because I remember the ads showing a red one (to match the 550 color back then).

I don't think they were very popular, but I know this thing existed once upon a time. If anyone has any info on it, or knows of one for sale.... I'm interested.

I believe you are talking about something called, "the wedge." I'm also looking for one.
