Hi just a question.

Is the trim on the xl 1200 ltd suposse to work always, even a higher speed??
I can only adjust up or down when driving very slow nearly at idling. Qoutside the water is no mproblem is smooth to move the trim grip handle.

Thanks for any help and info.

Its normal to be hard to move at speed. You are fighting the thrust coming out of the nozzle. Like a boat without hydraulic steering is very hard to turn with the prop reving. On my FX HO it is vertually impossible to adjust the trim over 1/2 throttle. You have to let off the throttle to make an adjustment.

What a mess not to be able to adjust the nozzle at high speed:mad:

Supposedly RIVA has come up with a kit for the newer machines that allows some adjustment to the trim at full throttle, but reduces the amount of nozzle deflection. Most of the professionial riders learn to just release the throttle for a second, adjust the trim and then hit the throttle again, with very little loss in speed.
