It is a VX on steroids. I'm a little skeptical about the top speed of 68.4 mph. That would make it faster than a supercharged stock FZR with the same engine............it is lighter though. Acceleration is only 0.3 seconds off the FZR. We'll have to wait for more test results. In any event the VXR/VXS should be a wake/wave jumping demon. It should be a speed demon on smooth water, but unless Yamaha has redesigned the hull, intake grate, and ride plate, it will be too bouncy to maintain speed in rough conditions. Can't wait to see more test results!
