Biggest potential problem is an oil line coming off, resulting in a fried cylinder/piston if your ski has not been converted to pre-mix.

You can usually fix the trim problem by taking it apart at the handle. That is where it usually rusts. If its not too bad, you can just clean it up and use the same cables.

Taking the handle off just involves undoing the 2 screws is it?
You don't have to take the trigger apart if yours is the same as the GP1200 (so leave that in place). Just take a good look at how it goes back together before you completely dissamble it.............it is a little tricky.
