I am looking into buying a new PWC. The models I’ve been looking at are the Yamaha GP1800R SVHO and Sea-Doo RXP-X 300 or RXT-X 300. Some questions I have are which ones handle the best with hull design, which ones give you the most riding per gallon of fuel, and insurance/maintenance cost. I would mostly be riding in a lake. Any advice, thoughts, or opinions on these, and which one I should buy are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I dont know about the new jetskis but in my experience Yamaha is the most reliable hands down. I've had a 97 waveraider for a year now and haven't had found a single thing wrong with it, knock on wood. I've also had 2 dirt bikes and 2 atvs that were Yamahas and we've had very few problem from them. My brother and father have had hondas, Suzukis, ktms and Kawasakis but the Yamahas have done the best reliability wise. If I were you I'd go Yamaha, they're hard to beat.
