That looks like the one I use on my Yamahas. Make sure there are no obstructions in the flushing port inside your machine. I once left the cap of of my flushing port off after putting the PWC away and the next time I went to flush it (before going out on it) I could not attach the flush hose because some ants had built a nest in the flushing port. Now I always double check to make sure I put the flushing port cap back on after flushing. Attaching the flushing hose does require a firm push and twist.
