How much work is it to install reverse on a 2005 VX1100 Sport? Does anyone know how much it will cost? It does have the space for the reverse gear .. it is covered by a piece of plastic cover. Any help is much appreciated.

call the dealer and ask. I would do it for $10000

I guess you would install reverse for 10,000! I thought you repair these things for a living. Should be around $500 at a Yamaha dealer.

bpann1 .. did you mean to say $1000. For $10K I can get a new one and the salesman probably buy me gas and beer for the whole summer!
