I have a 1999 Yamaha XL 1200 Limited and the engine is brand new but when i check if the battery is charging, it is only charging at 12.3 volts and my Kawasakis output 14 volt. Is that ok, or is there a problem? I have went threw two batteries already in like two weeks because they keep dieing, I finally bought a bigger battery.

Most likely you have a bad rectifier/regulator assembly or one of the wires going to or from the rectifier/regulator assembly is corroded/loose contact, or broken. Fairly common problem on this model. Also check the ground (black wire) to and from the battery to be sure the connections are tight and clean.
