I have a 2000 GP1200R and a 2001 XLT2001.
I have been using Yamalube oil but in an emergency and to use a TCW3 certified brand for a quart or so.
My question is Yamalube the only oil I should be using?
The off brand TCW3 oils are much cheaper, but is there that big of a difference? I am more worried about performance and protection of my engines than price.
What is the best for me to use?

Thank you for any help you can give me

check your other thread..

once you replace the catalytic converter with a d-plate i would recommend quiksilver... its a fairly cheap oil that can be found at wal-mart etc... it works great,, i use it in my triple pipe gpr and the single pipe...

Thank you Remy!
First thing I did when I bought the GP1200R was put in a D plate (the cat was overheating and broke up). And quiksilver was exactly what I was looking at when I was at Walmart.
Thank you again
