01 gp8004

I have a gp800r that I am having issues with losing power in the turns. Ski will get up to top speed 56-57 mph with no problem, when going into turns weather it be a hard turn or a easy long turn it will lose power and bog down really hard and I have to burp the throttle several times to get it back up to speed. Checked the plugs a d plugs looked fine. Went ahead and changed them and problem seemed to be fixed. Rode yesterday and problem happened again. Any suggestions?

Sounds to be fuel delivery issue.
How much fuel is in the tank? Does it do it worse when closer to empty? Or do it all the time?
It could be the flap at the bottom of the pickup tube is warped and sticking closed. You may have to remove the pickup/sending unit to remove the plastic flapper on the bottom.

The fuel level is a little over half full, seemed to do it with lower fuel level as well.

I'm still thinking fuel delivery. Either the flap at the bottom of the pickup tube or pickup tube itself. If your feathering the throttle your feeding fuel through the excelerator pump to keep power up.
Have you tried replacing fuel filter?
When was the last time carbs where rebuilt?
Try running in reserve on fuel valve and see it changes anything.
